For this assignment we had to use Inspiration or Kidspiration to create a visual learning tool that targeted a specific grade level and content standard. The programs needed to be downloaded to use, Kidspiration is for younger students and Inspiration is for older students. I used Kidspiration to work on the math standard of money values. With Kidspiration I was able to create a visual learning board that highlighted the aspects of breaking down a penny, nickel, and dime for Kindergarten and 1st graders. I also included a link for kids to go to in order to gain more practice with this subject. Kidspiration also has worksheets and forms that are already created for a various number of subjects to help children practice what they are learning on an individual level. Along with the visual aspect, Kidspiration also includes a notepad optioin that allows for creators to narrate illustrations.
